I was trying to figure out how to do custom tones on my 3G without using ToneFX and discovered a way to make your own winterboard tone themes. I found it here:

Quick rundown of how I think it will work: You have to go through OpenSSH and copy .caf files over to an existing theme and name them a certain name, like Voicemail.caf. I'm not exactly sure what happens after this point, but I will try it later today.
I am planning on creating a whole theme of tones that I want on my phone when I get home from work. How cool would that be?!?!? Anyone else tried doing something like this?
