O2 officially unlock from 10th Nov09

According to this newspaper interview with head of O2, they will begin officially unlocking their iPhones from tomorrow. They say as soon as their is another carrier offering the iPhone they will unlock, and Orange start their iPhones from tomorrow.
All of which seems quite timely, as the only reason I have jailbroken my phone is to use an unolck, and now that jailbreaking is vulnerable to worms/virus I will be quite happy to play ball.
