Unable to add mac to itunes match. I have an existing account

About three weeks ago I went into iTunes on my mac and noticed I was unable to access iTunes match. Kept on asking me to add my mac again to iTunes match. Did so and it the add screen fails. hangs iTunes. Open ticket for over a week now with Apple.
