Why is the album artwork showing up for the album but not the actual songs???

After I finally managed to get my Hamilton Broadway soundtrack synced from my iTunes on my computer to my iphone, I wanted to listen to it. When scrolling through my albums onmy phone the album artwork for Hamilton is there, and it is there when I select the album and scroll through the songs. However, as soon as I select a song and it starts playing, the album artwork that should be shown above the song title as its playing is gone, and it's just the blank gray music note. But when I go back to the album itself, the artwork is still there. I have already tried selecting different songs and shutting off the phone and turning it back on. This is incredibly frustrating because the album artwork is my favorite part of listening to a song. What do I do??
