Why won't iTunes 12.1.2.27 update apps on MacBook running Yosemite 10.10.3?

I can no longer update my Apps on my iPhone 6 & iPad air 1 via syncing USB. I tried "Authorized this Computer", my devices under my iTunes account and reset location and privacy under iOS 8.3.

Anything else I should try?

1. Is the computer connected to the internet?
2. Has there been a change in the computer's firewall or firewall setting that could be causing the issue?
3. Have you tried rebooting your iOS devices, your computer, your Wi-Fi router and your cable/DSL modem?

1: Yes
2: The Apple store recently reloaded the OS on my Mac!
3: Yes.
Turning the Firewall off didn't do it.
