I wish I knew how iTunes Match figures out what to match......

Some times I just don't get how iTunes Match figures out what it thinks it can match vs what it has to upload.

Case in point...

I have The Endless River that I purchased from a store (wanted the DVD in 5.1). So tonight I finally imported the CD into iTunes.

Brand new album...and yet 4 of the 18 songs still had to be uploaded. WTF?

I hear you, and I wish I knew the answer, but I don't. While awaiting a response from someone who may know, give Apple a call and see if they can tell you the answer.
