Can you change your credit card without canceling the preorder?

what if you pre-ordered an album on iTunes & the need to change your credit card before the album comes out. do you just cancel the pre-order & order again once you have change the information or can you change your credit card without canceling the preorder?

No you should be good, you won't get charged until the album comes out.
