I was just curious if music/movies that I purchase from iTunes can be burned to CD or DVD?

If so, do I do this in iTunes program or export to a different one?

Sorry for being a noob with the question (I haven't purchased music/movies on iTunes yet), but when I buy music/movies on my laptop, it will save to my harddrive?

You can copy the movies to a DVD, but they won’t be "playable" in a DVD player... there are ways to legally do it, but it can be convoluted and time-consuming. IMHO, it’s easier to buy the DVD and then rip it for iTunes (or other media players/formats).
