Greetings!
iTunes stores copies of all my apps on my desktop even though I don't want it to! I am doing iCloud backups and have unchecked "Automatically Sync new Apps" from the Apps tab in the device settings (I've also unchecked the entire tab as well). I don't pirate apps in any way, everything is 100% legit. I am running the latest iOS and iTunes (I've tried iOS 5.0.1 and 5.1, both restored as new, and from backup)
I'm a heavy app user and don't appreciate the 15GB of dead space on my desktop. Any suggestions are appreciated.
PS: For people who might suggest to me to cut the cord: That's not an option since I want to sync my podcasts across devices, including an iPod Nano.
