How do I clear the available Apps?

In iTunes, I have a number highlighted (see attached screen capture) in the Applications section. In the past this meant that I had updated apps that had not been downloaded. But today I download apps to my IOS devices and sync them back to iTunes via WiFi.

Does anyone know how to clear the flag that says I have 106 or so apps that need updating. I guess it is not hurting anything but it is distracting. I understand that in this same screen capture, that I have 16 podcasts that I have not listened to, but I don't have 106 apps that I have not updated.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just because you sync via WiFi doesn't mean you don't have apps to update. I have a ton of apps that aren't currently installed on my iOS devices - and these show up as having updates from time to time. You can clear them by either updating them, or deleting them completely from iTunes.
