Home sharing deleted files still visible?

I download a lot of video podcasts in itunes and watch them via home sharing on my ATV2, my ipad 2 or my 4gs. It works fine on my ATV2 but on my ipad and iphone videos show up that were watched and deleted from itunes weeks ago. If I try to play them an error is returned because obviously they aren't there anymore. I can't find any reference to these deleted videos within itunes yet the ipad and iphone find them everytime.

Can anyone help?
