iPhone 4 won't connect to iTunes

I just recently updated my Mac os to 10.5.8 but now I plug in my iPhone and it won't recognize on iTunes anyone know why?

try reinstalling iTunes and see what happens... Only thing I can think of... had a strange iTunes version expired message and it was 9.2 ... and I had to reinstall it and all is well...
