iTunes not opening with iPhone

Very recently I noticed that when I plug my iPhone into my PC, iTunes does not open automatically (which it did in the past).

Appreciate any suggestions or help.

yeah thats been happening for a while, is it not to do with the latest versions of itunes.

it's possible the device driver isn't loading. that's how it knows to open itunes.

You may need to wipe the driver and reload it
or
restore the iphone as new

Or just be thankful you don't have to look at iTunes unless you need it. Unless I plug my iPhone in while it's in restore mode, it doesn't automatically open iTunes - and I'm thankful for it.
