iTunes keeps showing update available for App

I downloaded and installed the latest update for one of my applications(Eliminate Pro) but iTunes keeps telling me there is an update available for it.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with the app, or an iTunes issue?

Is there a fix for something like this?

Did you download it through iTunes and install it by syncing your device with iTunes or did you just install it on your device? Have you done a sync since then?

I sync daily. I downloaded this a few weeks ago and have had no problems until now.

The 1.1 update was released, iTunes told me about it, so I downloaded the update and it works fine. But when I go back to iTunes it still says that the 1.1 update is available for the app. I've downloaded it multiple times, both on the iPhone and on my PC. But it continues to tell me there is an update available.
