Backing up backup on itunes?

Is there a way to backup Itunes?
I'm gonna install win7 on my vista machine and want to make sure I lose nothing on my JB'd 3gs (contacts/messages/songs/vids/apps)

If you copy the itunes folder where your media and library is and then copy it back to the same location, you will sync like you never upgraded your OS.

just make sure your backup is current before you upgrade. this way you'll have everything still

My friend backup his iTunes files by burning files into disc.

Backup iTunes songs
If you create a playlist and put all your songs in the playlist right click the playlist and choose backup to disk. You might need multiple DVDs depending on the amount of songs you have.

Backup PC
Go to symantec.com and grab the fully functional 30 day norton ghost and backup your PC to an external drive.

Vista
Use the built in Backup prog in the Accesories menu to do a full computer backup to an external drive.
