iTunes crashing?

Every single time I hook my phone up to itunes, it automatically starts to sync and then crashes. I dont have the "sync when iphone is connected" selected, yet its doing it anyways.

The error message it keep spitting out is

"iTunes 8.2.0.10 has crashed. A minidump file has been created in the following location:

C:\Users\Paula\Desktop\iTunes Crash Logs\iTunes 8.2.0.10"

Any ideas? I dont get this problem when I just use itunes for music

Plug your iphone into a different usb port to reload the drivers. If it still crashes, you likely need to reinstall itunes.

Thanks I'll give that a try...its strange...it started doing this all of a sudden. Silly computers lol.
