If you just bought the iPod touch, you can return it and then buy what you really want. If you've had it a while, no way.

You really can’t be serious... you expect the store where you bought it a year ago to take it back and refund your money to buy the new version?

Now, if you’re talking about selling the one you have and using the money towards the new model, go for it. It’s your only option, IMHO.

You absolutely, positively cannot return it after a year. Look to ebay or Craig's list.

Why would you think that you can just exchange it for something new after you've had it for a year now?

Hmm, my SUV is only 6 months old, maybe I could exchange it for a new one, GIGI.
