Navigation on iPod Touch 6th gen, how well is it?

navigation on ipod touch 6th gen

Hi.. I'm planning to buy an iPod touch 6th generation as an app device.. see I'm using a BB10 hehe!

One thing I just learned though is that if doesn't has GPS but I see Google Maps is available for it.

My question is, if I kept the iPod online through my BlackBerry serving as a hotspot then I hit the road will it give me an accurate location? If yes, please explain how

As long as it's connected to data , you shouldn't have any issues.
