How can I re set up my sons iPod without knowing the Apple ID ?

my sons iPod touch went into lock out mode of 45 years and I managed to get it back to set up stage but the Apple ID it is showing has me stumped and I have reset any Apple ID that I can see on my account and it is still not working. What else can I do?

this happened to me last week, i used that online support and within a few minuets the lady had sent a code to it and i told her this code back then all was good from there on.
