Hi guys, can you please help me here?

The home button on my iPod touch stopped working so I decided to order a replacement and simply replace it, but it seems the actual switch inside the iPod is worn. I can press it with my finger and then it works fine, but with the actual button it doesn't work.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, did you manage to fix it??

Would appreciate your help, thanks in advance!

Not me, and you're the first person that I've read about who has had such a problem. This may be one of those times when you should make a genius bar appointment and have one of the geniuses fix it for you.

I managed to fix it. The button wasn't touching the switch underneath, so I took a rubber spacer from a laptop keyboard key (smoky white colour) and superglued it to the switch underneath the home button.

The home button works perfectly again now lol.
