Hi,
I've noticed that in multitasking (4g) there's an app next to the music controls.

Is there a way to change that app? And if so, how?

The orange one is the music the controls go with. The one on the left is the landscape mode lock/unlock. You can't change those.

If I remember correctly no, but it will show the app icon of what app is currently playing audio.

As long as it supports that yes.

Tunein radio ^ (3rd gen iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1 but applies to 6 as well)
Also if you tap on the icon it will go to the app that is playing audio.

My screen shot above shows tunein radio but you can't fast forward or rewind I don't think. It will very per audio app though.

Yes, but it will vary per app. You can try it with different apps your self if you like.

It should show most music apps. But not other apps like TapaTalk or Facebook. LOL
