ipod photo cache

hi all
I have searched the forums and cant seem to find the answer to this one, perhaps someone could help

I use sky (sorry) ONEDRIVE to sync my photo's, however the ipod cache is using a huge amount of space and I wanted to know how to either exclude those folders OR move them on my windows 8,1 machine so they are not included in the onedrive folders that sync

any ideas please?

Deleting the files out of the folder is the only thing I can think of cause if you move it the folder will be recreated.

I have tried that but the next time I sync my ipad or iphone with iTunes it recreates the folders and they sync with onedrive again!

Am I really the only one with this question? Ok how about rephrasing, is there a way of moving the folder called IPOD PHOTO CACHE so that ever time I sync my iphone or ipad the cache does not get recreated in my pictures folder by iTunes ? I am using windows 8.1.
