Now the questions begs will the "rumored" cheaper iPhones also come without a rear facing camera? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

People will buy it... But now days.. some may just opted for the iPhone instead...

Since the iPhone 16GB for $199.00 comes with a front and rear facing camera why would a consumer spend the money for this new touch at more money for just a retina display? Will it make that big of a viewing experience?

Also see new article I just placed in this forum from Apple on how many iPod touches have been sold since 2007. Gearing toward the child market and parents clearly.
