Best use for a spare?

I've got a first-gen iPod touch now that is mostly sitting around collecting dust now that I've got an iPhone 4. That seems like a waste, though. Anyone have suggestions on what to do with it?

You could use it as a remote for your iTunes library and/or if you have an AppleTV, you could use it for that as well.

Also, if your have DirecTV, you could use it as a remote for that service... or if not, perhaps your cable provider has an app that would use the iPod as a remote...
