How soon we forget

Apple over the years has married there iPhone hardware and software with speed and reliability that's so subtle that we forget how slow and less responsive the older devices were till we handle what came before as little as six years ago.

I was reminded when I was setting up my parents i4 and i4s. The wait time of a few extra seconds just waiting to make a call after tapping a contact seemed like an eternity. Even the scroll speed was painful to see

We are addicted to seamless operation of our devices that any wait time is frustrating

You're at least talking about an iPhone 4 and 4s. I hate the waiting time on my fathers iPhone 6

I remember the days of the 3gs and have we come far I remember people getting bills in boxes

I think about this every now and then. It's crazy how at the time we thought those devices were lightning fast and now we want to pull our hair out when using them. It's funny.

That's just how it is with technology as time passes....Unfortunately, we, as people, tend to get slower....
