Lightbulb Anybody try to make your phone a security camera?

    #1
I got an old iphone 4s, dont know how to deal with it since I have bought a new one.

I see people saying I can turn the old phone into a security camera by using a certain of apps.

This is the instruction that I refer to: make-iphone-ipad-a-security-camera/
Has anybody try those apps successfully? and how did they perform?

Which one is the best? I dont wanna download and test them one by one, so I'd like to ask your opinions.

Or what else can I do with the old thing??? Please give me some hints, bro.

Earlier I had smart phone and I was using Smart home monitoring and security system which will send all details like fire, flood, carbon monoxide, life safety notifications to my smart phone. Now I have switched to iphone and I'm just gaining knowledge about iphone. The links which you have shared seems to be very useful to get a clear idea.

I've used Manything in the past with my iPad 2 and whatever iPhone I had at the time and it worked quite well. The motion detection feature was excellent. I don't need the app now, but I wouldn't hesitate to return to using it if necessary.
