How do you reset a Iphone with the power button broken?

My Friends Iphone is frozen. The notification menu is stuck. Its covering 7/8 of the screen so I cant slide to reset it. Her power button doesnt work so I cant reset it with the home and the power. Please Help

You can't do much without the power button working....
Just let it drain completely until it will switches off by itself.

How do you reset a Iphone with the power button broken?

When you reset network settings your phone will reboot. Also toggling on or off "bold text" in Settings > Display and Brightness will restart your phone as well.
You can do a soft reset (slide to power off) by using Assistive Touch in Accessibility.
