my iphone keeps saying that it is in Private Mode when I have it hooked up to my car

where can I turn off Private Mode so that I hear the phone calls through the radio in my car?

The next time you're in your vehicle and your device is connected to it via Bluetooth, make a phone call. When the person answers, look on your either your phone or the vehicle's display unit and select the vehicle to disconnect from private mode.
