iPhone Upgrade Program question

I have a launch day iPhone 6 that is under contract until 9/16. I would like to give this one to my daughter and get a 6s/6s Plus for me.

Is this possible with the program? I would keep my # and get a new number for her. Either way I guess the balance of the contract could be on either phone?

I just did the Apple iPhone program and you keep your phone on the original start up but next year when you upgrade you'll turn in the iPhone 6s

Sure. Since you'll still be paying for your current iPhone, your carrier will simply add a line to your account and will sell you the iPhone 6S/6S Plus at the subsidized price.
