My UPS story.
I seen on UPS.com that UPS now has things called Access points. I went to my local "The UPS Store" and the owner told me that the merchant has to support that and it has to be set up before hand. He also told me some other stuff that I did not know, like, UPS now has PO Boxes at there locations and if I were to get one it would be free for packages to be delivered there.
So, I then called 'UPS' 800 number and was transferred to a "UPS Apple Specialist". I was on hold for about 8 minutes [almost hung up because it was a silent line with no music and I thought the line was dead]. A very nice person came on the line and asked for my tracking numbers, which I gave, and had no problem having my iPhones held at the local "UPS Customer Center" [also called a distribution center]. After I hung up, about 2 minutes later, I received a phone call from my local distribution center who then confirmed the hold. I am going to pick up the phones at 10am in the morning.
I did all this because the UPS truck does not deliver to my house till "the end of the day" and that is always 8-9pm and I did not want to wait ALL DAY and then deal with the activation and restoring from back up so late.
I hope this info helps someone. Thanks
