Apple silicone for 6/6 plus

I'm looking into buying the silicone case for my 6 plus. Does anyone have it and recommend it? I'm debating because it's so thin! And doesn't cover the bottom of the phone and the lip is really small. Has anyone had any bad experiences or mixed reviews about it? I'm also worried about it denting the bottom of my phone

If you have any tendency to drop your devices, you may want to look for a case that offers more protection.

I have it: the grip is very good, it doesn't slip out of my hands, but as Bigeric says, if you drop your phone, there's no lip to cushion the screen and the case is very thin.
So when I'm in town and working from home, I like the silicone case a lot, but when I'm out in the field, I switch to Otterbox commuter.
