I use WiFi as much as I can, but I stream Spotify so I use data on my drives. I use around 4 or 5 GB a month.

Carrier data is about 10GB a month, not less than 8GB anyway.

I typically use 1-2GB, yet my plan is 15GB with rollover. I have like 30GB waiting to be wasted. I don't stream and should reduce my plan.

Yes you do, you just choose to buy it from the mobile carriers instead of the cable company. If that works better for you that's cool.

The increase is supposed to be $20, not $5, but it doesn't take place until your contract is up.

It's the cellular data you use whether you use wifi or not. Wifi does not count as cellular data.

In 17.4 days, I've used 212 mb of data with 14 days left. I'll average about 310 mb per cycle. My 28 year old son is the data hog!

Yesterday I switched from my 15GB/month plan to a 6GB/month plan. With AT&T I typically had over 25GB left in rollover data. My wife and I just don't drink a lot of data when we're out. I fully expect we'll regularly have over 10GB in rollover data even if we try to waste some.
