What was the last tip, Trick or just something in using your phone did you learn from the iMore forums or someone in the forums that you did not know that became very useful to you that you did not know and you use it all the time now? What was it?

I learned yesterday if you say to Siri

?Planes Overhead?

She will show you all the planes flying over your location

Pretty cool

The slo-mo video on my 5s. I'd completely overlooked this feature until I saw people posting about it.

I just realized something today that I had never noticed before. The clock on the clock app icon has a sweeping second hand. I know it's not a huge find or anything, but I just noticed it for some reason.

I am also learning to use the slow motion video. I had completely forgotten about it until someone posted a video a couple days ago.

Someone told me recently how to set a timer for music! I love the sleep timer for podcasts, so the music one was a nice surprise.

Here's another thing I learned recently and started to use:

You can shake your phone when composing a text if you want to undo the typing. It's faster than back spacing it sometimes if you want to delete it all.

I like getting my text alerts pop up on the screen until I have to take action so I don't miss them. But I didn't like the actual message showing up because I like privacy.

So here's a tip: Settings > Notifications > Messages > Show Preview. Tap the option and turn it off and a preview will not appear.

Love this!!!

I learned tho other day that you can have YouTube play music with your phone locked or in the background. This doesn't work with the app so you have to use safari: play any you tube video, and hit the home button. The audio will stop but just open control center and hit play.
