Exclamation Best software for converting videos (DVD) for use on iPhone?

I didnt see a better forum to put this in, so here goes...

I was wondering what the best software is for converting DVD's etc... to an iphone compatible video format. I know of a few (Transfer my DVD, Roxio Crunch, etc...), but haven ever used any. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you on a mac? If so check out Visual Hub or Handbrake.

Wow, either your computer is VERY slow, which I doubt, or something is not right...

10 hours, wow... thats very wrong... did it ESTIMATE 10 hrs, or actually take 10 hrs?

also handbrake normally uses 100% of the CPU cycles. so, i normally encode at night when im sleeping and not using the computer.
