Need help with the Due app

Not sure about this issue but do have an issue with a reminder app called 'Due' which I love where I have a sound set twice a day but sound does not go off. Do not have and have not had the same issue on my other phone which is a 6s+

Have you thrived uninstalling and then reinstalling the app?
