This app was developed to serve as a repository for voice commands pertaining to the Amazon Echo. After doing initial research it became apparent that preformatted text messages to voice could benefit everyone. This app will allow everyone to utilize smart home technology, while storing the users most commonly used commands.
Play Command Center:
The Play Icon takes the user to a view where commands can be entered, played, and stopped. Also on this view will be a series of quick tap commands (QTC) which will allow the user to quick access data from their Echo. There are three commands for each wake word. The Resources Tab gives the user access to a larger Echo community. Our need help section shows how to use the app along with video demos on how the app works. The next section of links provides a way for people to connect with Commanding Echos directly through our Wordpress and FaceBook sites. Finally, their are links to online communities to connect with other Echo users and product links to enhance your smart home experience.
The Favorites tab allows the user to store and recall their favorite commands. With a swipe action the user can delete commands or copy those commands for playing. In addition the user is now able to hit the refresh buttons at the top of their favorites list to arrange their list in alphabetical order and reverse alphabetical order for easy access to the whole list.
The Command Search tab gives the user access to over 500 searchable commands with the ability to save those commands from the list to their favorites list. By using a swipe action the user is able to copy the command from the whole list or from a filtered result list. In addition the user is now able to hit the refresh buttons at the top of the list to arrange the command list in alphabetical order and reverse alphabetical order for easy access to the whole list.
The Skills Search Tab provides a simple PDF list of nearly a thousand 3rd party skills to provide a more efficient use of your Echo.
