Camera++ advanced camera

A small maintenance release has been released (v1.0.1) which fixes the issue discovered with iPhone 5 devices. Also in this release
- added brightness control during Time lapse recording
- Slow motion playback frame rate (Slow Motion is available on devices from iPhone 5S and later)

If you have discovered any issue, please, post it here.

re: Camera++ manual camera + RAW

Attention to users or iPhone 5S and later. There was an issue discovered in Bracketing mode for certain resolutions:
iPhone 5S - 1280x720
iPhone 6 - 1280x720
iPhone 6S and above - 1280x720 and 1920x1080

Selecting these resolutions during Bracketing will lead the app to crash :( The issue was already corrected and fix will be included in next release. Sorry for inconvenience!

re: Camera++ manual camera + RAW

Hi, would you add any User Guide/tutorials/help how to use Camera++ like you did for BB10 version? My wife just by case discovered how to separate focus and exposure markers. Then later it turned out they could independently be locked. The app is really great (more powerful than BB10 version), but without some help one cannot use it at its full potential. Thanks and keep a good work

P.S. there was a rumor about RAW capability on iPhone, which models will support it?

Hi!

Yep, lack of User Guide is a problem, but we are working on it. We'll release it in a form of PDF and possibly online page too. In general, focusing/exposure metering works as in any other app: by default focus and exposure are calculated at the same point. The focus/exposure point can be changed with single tap on screen. If you tap with two fingers or use pinch gesture, focus and exposure areas become decoupled. After that each of them can be dragged on screen or first select (tap inside the area) and then use single tap to place the area on screen. Long press inside the area locks or unlocks it. When focus is locked, changes in scene does not trigger re-focusing automatically. You still can do it manually by dragging focus area on screen. Same for exposure area. Double tap on screen resets both areas back to center and couple them together. For front cameras focus is fixed, but you still can use exposure area to control the picture exposure using auto-methods. When you switch focus or exposure to manual mode, corresponding marker will be hidden from screen completely.

Regarding RAW format, yes, it's coming also to Camera++ (next release) for all 12 MPx cameras (means iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus)

re: Camera++ manual camera + RAW

There was a small update released today with a small change in RAW capture mode. Now, if you select RAW+JPEG mode, DNG and JPEG images are saved in separate files, since many apps having problems to discover DNG within combined asset.

re: Camera++ manual camera + RAW

Is there a way to get the bokah aka depth of field with the app? Thanks

Currently no, still don't have access to iPhone 7 Plus device. In case it's possible to shoot two images at once or at least with minimum delay, I'll add depth of field feature to Camera++ for any dual-camera iPhones
