Just curious if I am the only one that does not get notifications for Instagram or Facebook. Yes the are turned on but I don't think in years I ever got notifications. In fact the only notification I get are for the inboxes in these apps, like Facebook messenger or the messaging box in Instagram

With push notifications, there are two areas you'll need to check: Settings in iOS and the settings in each app.

    For example, for Instagram:

    iOS Settings:
    1. Open the Settings app from the iOS home screen.
    2. Scroll down and choose Instagram from the list of apps
    3. Tap Notifications (red icon)
    4. Make sure Allow Notifications is turned on
    5. Choose additional options, like whether you want modal alerts or status bar banners.

    App Settings:
    1. Open Instagram
    2. Tap user profile icon on lower right
    3. Tap gear icon in upper right
    4. Scroll down and tap Push Notification Settings
    5. Make sure the notifications you want are turned on.

Yup it's set to "From Everyone" in the IG settings. At least the visual notifs work
