Why does my Game Center open with a white screen and says I'm not signed in?

Game Centre opens white screen and says I'm not signed in.

I know there's lots of advice on how to fix game centre. I have had problems on/off with it for months.
Under settings, game centre will not open.
When I click the Icon, it may open up but not let me select anything. When it does go to the next screen, if still freezes or says I'm not signed in.
There's a lot of the word games I no longer have access to.
I do not want to create a new Apple ID.

Hey there,

what Version of iOS are you running currently? Because rumour has it that this bug has been fixed with the 9.3.2 iOS update.
