And that did not work either.

Can others please try this? Open the app, close the app through app(app switcher). Change time(not date) to 11:59PM. Wait one minute and see if the date in the badge gets updated.

What happened there was I was testing it and didn't put it back to the correct date and then tried it again, making the date 2 days ahead of the correct date. I then set the date back to the correct date and it didn't update back, and then I tried putting the clock to 11:59 again and the badge did not update.

Let's all do a true test, meaning set the date to auto, open the app sometime between now and midnight, and then see if the date updates in the morning tomorrow.
You mean with the app running in the background?

But the badge isn't in sync with the current date. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/01/78760de1ccc1d5f730d93ece3c8864cb.jpg
So yes it does update, but only when the prescribed method is followed to the T.

Definitely needs a calendar refresh button. If I make changes anywhere to an event, it will not update in this app on my iPhone unless I open the Apple Calendar app, then open Super Calendar.
