The weather widget is doing ok with 3 sections. It's been a couple of hours and still working fine. So I decided to do a test. I added a fourth section and the thing bombed, I then went back to 3 sections and its working fine again. Guess it's made for only 3 sections, that's ok, I can deal with just 3 of the most important to me.

I have them all loaded with no issues. Using iphone 6 (8.1.1) and latest beta.

Some have no issues with the widget sections and some do. I wonder what the common denominator is that causes some to not load it all. Odd. It's the same for the hourly weather notifications. It's not working for some and does for others.

The combination of "Push" and "Fetch" seems to be working to keep the badge function working. When the Push does not update the Fetch does.

@AppleNick Your Fetch and Push are closer together than mine. I don't know if that's significant or not. I just don't understand it. But I upgrade to the 6 Plus soon. No back up to iTunes. I don't want to restore any problems. Thanks!

Sometimes the fetch is almost 24 hours late. I don't really understand how the system works. Together with the push they seem to update at least once per hour. I am happy with that.

Mine stopped after updating iOS 8.1.2. I think it only updates while my phone is asleep and locked. So when I get up in the morning I see an update. But as soon as I unlock and open the phone they stop.

Check the difference in the two and mine updates every hour.

Ok silly question....why do you guys show fetch and push where as mine only shows fetch.....? for both my 5S and Air is there something I need to set or enable to have push?

I have no idea where to do whatever you do to make it do what it's doing.

LOL...that there's a tongue twister sir hee hee.

Well, I knew the settings were there, I just don't have the push setting...so that's what I don't get.

Oh well....I'm not complaining, my badge and hourly lock screen works as it should.

OK, BeWeather friends! I did the test. I suspected that the hourly notification alert was only coming in on my phone while it was asleep and locked. I was only seeing it during the wee hours of morning. But as soon as I open my phone, they stop. So I set my phone to lock after 15 minutes. Then at 6:40 pm central, I turn my phone off and leave it. So at 6:55 pm it locks. So then I check it at 7:15 pm. A BeWeather alert notification is there. So why do I only get the notification while my phone is locked? It was also on the NC screen. There has to be an answer for this.

The one that appears on the Lockscreen and the NC screen. Both are supposed to show once per hour. My Wife and I share the same iTunes ID and purchased list. Her's works fine. She gets the alert notifications once every hour like I did before updating to iOS 8.1.2.
