That's definitely odd. Uninstall, reboot, and reinstall.
Playing with it a lot at first since it has so many options might do that but not in every day use. Mine is only 2% with a couple peeks at it today and general background usage. I also have all settings enabled and use the widget.

Would pulling down notification centre put an impact on it? Because it always refreshes when I do

I do pull it down quite a lot. Maybe I should get out the habit of doing that

I'm at the same. And I have everything turned on. Weather alerts, hourly lock screen notification, widget, etc. I probably open the app half a dozen times a day and pull the Notification Center down about the same.

I have everything on and it's not on my list at all. I scrolled to the end and BeWeather 2 is not there.

Do you open the app and browse the iconsets much? I don't think using the NC center has much to do with it.

I do open the app but I've kept to the default icon set. Also it doesn't auto refresh for me when my iPhone's locked?

Do you use a lock code or fingerprint? At this point it needs that to work.

What is not refreshing? What's missing or not right? Also, check your map and be sure it's not stuck "in motion". Grasping at straws here, but something is causing the app to use way too much battery. That's not normal, even if you open and change your iconset 10 times a day.

I've turned the map off in the app. & the app won't give me hourly notifications when locked. How do I got the map to stop motion sticking?

Ok...silly question for you. Besides having allowed Beweather access through your phone permissions, did you actually go into the Beweather app itself and turn on things from there?

If you've done that too, try turning your phone off then back on. Maybe it just needs the signal refreshed.

Hmmmm..strange. Ok, have you deleted and reinstalled the app to set everything up fresh again?

I have no other ideas. I have fingerprint & passcode set with every notification Beweather can give me & I receive them all with no battery drain either.

The only other thing I can suggest which may be a little extreme, but reload your iOS by restoring as new then reloading your backup. I've got no other ideas....sorry

Right. I've got the battery drain under control, but I still can't get the app to get it to refresh every hour

Do you take the app out of the app switcher or do you leave it in. I found for it to work for me I have to leave the app in app switcher and then it works just fine.

Yeah I always leave it in the app switcher. Does the refresh only work in certain countries?

Well I have no idea what the issue is. Not sure if it's country specific.

Do you have banners turned on? If not, try turning that on.

When you say "refresh", do you mean the hourly notifications? You should get those if your phone is locked, you have notifications turned on in Settings and in the App, background app refresh is on, and location services is on for BeWeather 2. If you have done all that, and you still don't get the hourly notifications, then something is wrong. Do you get any other notifications from BeWeather? Like for severe weather or dry weather? Do you get notifications for other weather apps?

Just updated to new beta version 2.1.42, which changes the severe weather notification sound. Nice change but man is it loud! Any chance of lowering the volume or making it user-controlled?
