Calendar Sync

I have a couple of apps that say they have the ability to sync to my calendar and when I turn it on my calendar shows up I hit sync but the event doesn't show up.

Make sure you go into settings, privacy, then calendars and make sure you are allowing access.

It's possible that the sync is not instant, and could be defaulted to update in intervals. Is there an option/setting in the apps that control the sync?

It's not an option to control the sync in either app.

I did check the settings and they are all allowed.

Make sure the Calendar you are trying to Sync is checked at the bottom of the calendar screen on your device
The bottom bar on your calendar should display Today Calendar Inbox.
Press Calendar. This should display a list of calendars that will appear on your device.
Make sure you have the one you want to display checked.

I figured it out. It won't sync what's currently happening but future things.
