What do you think the future will bring in regard to games?

We have recently started a game developer company - and are wondering which trends there will be for the future.
Our first game "Run John" is a simple running-game with few graphical details. It seems that these kind of games have been quite popular for some time (Flappy Bird etc.)

What do you think the future will bring? More of these games or do the gaming audience require more advanced games?

The more high end components and processors especially graphic processors the more high end games developers will come out with.

Most people now days like quick and simple pick up and put down games... In Addition not something that may be battery intensive either.
