Sometimes you are just having to much fun. Actually so fun that you forget to eat. Not to mention, taking time to decide what to eat.

With the newly released version 2.2.0 of ‪Short Straw‬ you now get help with both things. As before, making selections for both fun and boring things are made easy with this app. Now, Short Straw can also remind you to actually make the selection.

Try it out, it is still for free.

Summer is here. Now you have all these decisions to make. What flavour should I have on my ice-cream? Should I wear flip-flops or go without shoes? Use Short Straw to decide. https://itunes.apple.com/app/id86764...mUvbUpU2548292

I fully understand that the Notification request that appears the first time one starts the new version is irritating.
I can however assure you that the only time Notifications are used are when you, yourself add a reminder side the app.

In next version I will try to move this request to when you for the first time set a reminder.

Talking about next version, it will take a while. I need some vacation and I think I also will wait for iOS9 to be released. I will then probably also remove the support for iOS7, so if you still use iOS7 see to it that you download the app before next update.

No question "who" at my house. I'm the man/dad, so it falls on me to take out the trash. No straw - long or short - will change that. Not sure I need an app to add to the nag level around here.

Good luck with the app, but I'm gonna pass.

Ouch! Well, I feel for you and this app can not help you here. But wait, maybe you can use Short Straw to decide if you are going to carry out the garbage before or after you do the dishes? Just to spice things up a bit!

    Hi All!

Now with iOS9 you will need to download the latest version of Short Straw that was released yesterday, 2.3.0. This version, beside working on iOS9, only contain small fixes and tweaks. Enjoy it: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id86764...mUvbUpU2594732

Coming up to Christmas. Have you decided what to get granny? Or who should put the star at the top of the christmas tree?

You can let Short Straw help you with those decisions.

Now a new minor release has appeared in the app store. Version 2.3.1 fixes an issue that could cause the app to crash when adding a contact without an image from you contacts.

    You can find it here:

If you have an iPhone 6s you will hugely benefit from downloading the latest release of Short Straw (2.4.0).

With this version home screen shortcuts are available (you set them up via the Info page) in order to quickly perform draws.

    Download it from here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id867645748?mt=8

As of today a new version (2.4.1) of Short Straw has been released. The main thing in this update is... nothing!

Well, I have removed code for Apples deprecated advertising network.

If you have not already downloaded it, please try it out. It is still for free and also free of ads.

    Enjoy!

Get ready for iOS10. Short Straw already is and can be updated now.

As before, no ads and no cost, just pure fun.

Try it now if you already have not: iTunes link
