Open the App, hit up the Map Manager - you should get the prompt an update is available...

Good heads up. While I don't have Navigon, have used dedicated Garmin Nuvis for years. Some of the Navigon features look similar to what's in the current generation Nuvis, which I like.

The App Store overview mentions iPhone 3GS and up. Might be a great way to repurpose an older iPhone.

The last map update on my Garmin Nuvi765T rendered it fubar... so I'm now a Navigon-only guy. It is very similar to my now defunct Nuvi.

Wow. Not good. Sorry to hear about that.

We have the 3590LM. Bought last month for a recent road trip. It received a FW update, and then I applied the latest maps. Going to be more cautious with any future updates.

Thank you for the heads up but I use my built in dash car Navigation system. If I did not I would use Navigon.
