Plants VS Zombie 2 keeps crashing on startup

The game runs smoothly on my iPad but it wont just work on my iPhone 5,it keeps crashing immediately after showing the EA logo,i still have not got the chance to play on the phone even once. Any ideas?

1. reboot the iPhone?
2. uninstall and then reinstall the game?

I have restarted,however i haven't reinstalled the game. Will definitely do that

Hey how do you do it if modern day 8 keeps crashing and i dont want to delete it (or how do i delete it withought lossing all my progress)and it also does it on the epic quest that is similar to modern day 8
