Where is the "people" icon they refer to? I don't see it anywhere.

Yes! I have no idea what they're talking about regarding the people icon

People icon? The above article stated the following:

"Now when you search for people on Twitter, you may see an expanded user result that shows a full bio. This account preview makes it easier and faster to find and learn more about the accounts youre looking for. And if you swipe the preview to the left, youll find similar accounts for example, if you search for the MLB, youll see suggestions for ESPN, Ken Rosenthal, and other MLB-related accounts."

I found it to be accurate.

Are you referring to the icon in the upper left corner?

    From the twitter blog:

"On Twitter for iPhone, it’s now easier to reply to Tweets with a built-in Tweet composer that appears when you tap to see details. It’s also easier to find accounts to follow with a new people button on the navigation bar, making the iPhone experience consistent with our Android app. Tapping this icon reveals a list of accounts that may be interesting or relevant to you."

It clearly mentions a people button on the navigation bar and a new Tweet composer. The update does not seem different to me at all, unless I'm missing something.

I use Tweetbot, so I have no point of reference to the changes... one thing I did notice (and like) is that when you click on a tweet in your timeline, if there's a link to website, you get that info displayed below the tweet itself... that's nice.

Then it is referring to the icon in the upper left corner of the main Twitter screen (the silhouette with the + sign).

That's the problem. I'm not seeing that. It should be on the timeline page, right?

That is indeed strange, but it gets even stranger. As you can see from my two screenshots, the icon appears in the upper left corner of my primary Twitter account but is no where to be found on my secondary account. The only difference between the two accounts other than the content is the fact that my primary account is private.

I wonder if it only appears with private accounts. I guess I should do a little more research on it as well as submit a bug report of some sort to Twitter.

After reading reviews on the App Store, it appears many people are having this problem, including not all of their accounts getting the update.

Well, another "bug fix" update today and nothing has changed. Again. No people button. No change at all. So much for giving up on Tweetbot!

If it would provider a mobilizer option for Instapaper, Pocket or Readability, it could sway me away from Tweetbot.

That's a big deal, but I also need the ability to selectively mute, people, words, phrases and even disable retweets from a specific user.

The people icon is now present on both my protected and open Twitter accounts. Remember, it only showed via my protected account the last time.

Still nothing here. I've tried logging out and back in, reinstalling the app and re-setting the phone. Still nothing seems updated. Weird.
