    Default iPhone newb... Weather App

Hello all. I am a brand new iPhone user, coming from Android...and I was wondering what weather app do you all prefer? Is there a weather app that will do show temperature without having to open the app? The only thing I liked about Android I think was the weather widgets( I never used any of the other widgets). Just thought I would see what your recommendations are.

Hello, and welcome to iMore and congratulations on purchasing your new iPhone. In regard to your questions, I have used quite a bit of weather apps including:

    The native weather app
    Yahoo Weather
    AccuWeather Pro
    Fahrenheit
    WeatherOn
    The Weather Channel
    Weatherbug

and several others. Fahrenheit, I know, shows the current temp on its homescreeen icon and I'm certain there are a few others, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.... If i remember them, I will indeed post back. Take care and enjoy your new device and your time here at iMore. Welcome to the community, my friend...

    I use:
    Weather Underground
    The Weather Channel

eWeather HD can display temperature directly on home screen. Also you may setup not only temperature of air but "Feels like" temp what is more important in the summer time. Their servers could send the messages about weather directly to your lock screen so you can check the weather without unblocking the phone.

I prefer Haze, beautiful, minimal, highly informative and gesture based. The only thing is, you want temp showed when not in the app and Haze does not do that,
