I cant figure this one out

I constantly got a pop up window from safari that looks like this ...
32C25D2B-EFF0-415B-82E9-415B50A7C001-3094-000001CB32E5C2B3.jpg

its always a different address but its always this pop up....

Once I get this pop up I try to open facebook and I get invalid URL error page, the only fox is to close out safari and reboot. I feel like Im using a PC again

I tried Firefox ...same issue

Very Annoying... can anyone help ???

Thanks

I open safari, then I open facebook or a different page and I get the pop up I posted above. I have reset safari, cleared everything ... nothing works.. I also close the offending tab when I close safari.

Anyone else have any suggestions

The certs are always from websites ive never heard of, i guess there are pretending to be Facebook. I dont know how to stop this.

Its only when I have a facebook tab open...

Keychain ? Not sure what that is exactly, I would not know what to look for.

Have you checked the date and time on your computer? Certificates have a start date and an expiry date.

Have you clicked on the "Show Certificate" button. It should show the reason the message appears, either in red or with a warning icon beside.

Karen, this was helpful thanks for the leg work, I did not find anything when I googled it.

I will try trusting the cert and see what happens

Can someone recommend a good MAC antivirus , Im using a free version of Sophos Anti Virus

when did they fix the issue ?

In the article you posted prior it says to trust the cert, maybe this was before it was addressed.

It has not happened much lately but it was real bad for about a year.

Another issue I was getting was my Facebook page would get highjacked to a different home page, it would be a reputable home page but for an hour or so. If I went to FB it would just redirect me to their site.

Seems like FB is vulnerable to hackers etc...
